Interior Design‘s prestigious Hall of Fame gala, which celebrates the career achievements of a select group of inductees each year, turned 40 during its most recent iteration in December. Since it’s start in 1985, the event has honored the crème de la crème in design with an eye toward celebrating those who not only create innovative work, but build a lasting legacy in the process through their mentorship, daring approach to craft, and commitment to furthering positive change.
For the first time, Interior Design teamed up with 3form, a leader in architectural resin and glass, to create a video playlist featuring 30 short documentary films spotlighting the achievements of Hall of Fame inductees. The brand, which recently unveiled its 2025 Color Collection, is adept at the art of curation—and color. With a deep understanding of the emotional resonance tied to bold and subtle hues alike, 3form’s new collection invites introspection, exploring the way color, like design, shape one’s experience in a space. Think: fiery reds with a hint of orange, lush teal, and rich winterberry, to name a few, balanced by grounding, more tempered hues that exude a quiet confidence.
Color often takes center stage in the storied careers of Interior Design‘s Hall of Famers, which showcase what can be achieved when the right palette, textures, and materiality come together with intention. From vibrant hospitality locales to homes brimming with personality, each short film honoring Hall of Fame inductees offers a glimpse into the minds behind the design magic.
