Niles + Chaz is a vegan, organic, cruelty-free hair care line for children of mixed heritage, led by parents actor Mike Colter and former entertainment executive Iva Colter.
Launched direct-to-consumer, the range comprises 90% naturally derived ingredients, per the brand, and features:
- Tangles Shmagnles ($28) is a hydrating curl detangler and de-frizzing formula composed of flaxseed oil, marshmallow extract, watermelon, banana and okra.
- Curl Raiser ($16) features marshmallow, prickly pear and acai to keep curls styled and strong.
- What The Frizz! ($20) is a styling gel cream featuring jojoba extract, shea butter and marshmallow to hydrate, strengthen and promote growth.
- Scalp Enhancer ($16) is a strengthening pre-shampoo treatment featuring murumuru, pumpkin, mango and charcoal.
The Colters named the brand for their multiracial children and specifically targeted mixed-textured hair to “promote children’s self-confidence and inclusivity.”
