Polyphenol Factory
Polyphenol Factory, a startup at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) led by Hae-Shin Lee, Ph.D., launched its novel Grabity brand anti-hair loss products at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The range is powered by the company’s expertise in polyphenol-based formulations.
Grabity Range Focus: Hair Health
The Grabity line includes hair lifting shampoos, a conditioner and a styling mist. These products are designed to target hair loss, thinning and weakened strands, per the company, with the goal of delivering measurable improvements in hair volume and structure.
The centerpiece of the range is the LiftMax 308 formula, a patented polyphenol complex that strengthens hair by adding a protective layer to damaged cuticles. Clinical studies show the ingredient imparts an immediate 140% increase in hair volume, with effects lasting up to 48 hr, per Polyphenol Factory.
Rapid Growth and International Expansion
Since its South Korea launch in April 2024, Grabity has gained strong market traction, consistently selling out across all major retail channels, the company reports. The brand also exceeded its Kickstarter funding goal by 1,122% in early 2024, enabling its expansion into Japan, where it is now sold in premium beauty salons. And, with strong interest from international buyers, Grabity aims to establish itself as a global leader in hair care innovation.
“Our mission is to empower individuals with hair concerns,” said Lee. “LiftMax 308 delivers professional-grade results accessible in the comfort of your own home, making it especially appealing to North American customers with fine or blonde hair.”
Grabity plans to launch on Amazon US in early 2025 as it begins its expansion into North America.
